Emeka Ngadi Scholarship 2021, Pre-Cégep

The Emeka Ngadi Scholarship program aims to recognize, encourage and provide financial support to deserving high achieving students. It hopes to empower the students in furtherance of their education to contribute positively to the society. The program is offered in memory of Emeka Ngadi who was an outstanding student at École Secondaire St-Georges. He used his skills to serve the community and people around him. The awards are granted based on academic performance as well as active community and/or extra curricular involvement. Qualified students are invited to apply for the 2021 Emeka Ngadi Scholarship.

An applicant must be a full-time student at any secondary school in the West Island of Montreal. The applicant must be in his/her final year of high school and must have been admitted into a full-time Cégep program for the upcoming academic year. While all are encouraged to apply, preference will be given to students in science programs. To apply, candidates are required to submit the following documents electronically:

  • Curriculum vitae (CV)
  • Cover letter highlighting the applicant’s relevant qualities and why the applicant deserves the award. Where applicable, the letter could mention any pressing financial needs.
  • Current and previous academic transcripts showing courses and grades
  • A copy of an admission letter to a Cégep in Montreal
  • Two (2) letters of recommendation

Applications should be sent to info@ngadifoundation.org. Completed applications must be received by May 30th, 2021. Successful applicants will be notified by mid July, 2021. Shortlisted candidates will be interviewed by the Ngadi Foundation Scholarship Committee. Successful candidates will receive a plaque and a 500$ cash reward. The Ngadi Foundation is announcing the 2021 Emeka Ngadi Scholarship program. The scholarship aims to empower young students in several dimensions. It hopes to recognize, encourage and provide financial support to high achieving students in furtherance of their education to contribute positively to the society. The program is offered in memory of Emeka Ngadi who was an outstanding student at John Abbott College. He used his skills to serve the community and people around him. The awards are granted based on academic performance and demonstrated active community and/or extra-curricular involvement. Qualified students are invited to apply for the 2021 Emeka Ngadi Scholarship.

An applicant must be a full-time student at any Cégep within the Montreal Island. The applicant must be in his/her final year and must have been admitted into a full-time University undergraduate program for the upcoming academic year. While all are encouraged to apply, preference will be given to outstanding science students.
